Review

This book picks up right where the second left off. It doesn’t pause to reintroduce everything; you need to read them in order.

One of the biggest joys of this installment is the relationships. New connections form naturally, and they don’t feel rushed or forced. Watching these relationships grow through struggles, loyalty, and hard choices adds emotional depth. They matter because, in the end, that is all anyone ever has.

What really makes the book stand out is how seamlessly real history is woven into the fictional narrative. The historical moments don’t feel like background decoration; they’re lived in. The characters move through real events in a way that makes history feel personal, immediate, and surprisingly intimate.

The ending was absolutely perfect. Satisfying, meaningful, and emotionally earned, it closes the story in a way that feels both complete and memorable. You finish the last page with that rare feeling that the journey was worth every chapter.

If you enjoy a book with history, battles and fun characters this is the series for you.
